You may feel stuck in patterns connected to family, culture, identity, or relationships, while also carrying the pressure to keep functioning at work, school, or in your everyday life. You may understand these patterns intellectually but still find yourself repeating them, questioning your reactions, or feeling unsure of how to create meaningful change. These patterns often have deeper roots, and you do not have to have everything figured out before beginning therapy.

Hi, I’m Samah. I support individuals navigating relationship challenges, unresolved family dynamics, childhood experiences, anxiety, depression, work-related stress, and burnout. Together, we can look beneath the surface of what you are experiencing, better understand how past and present relationships have shaped you, and create space for change that feels meaningful, sustainable, and grounded in a deeper understanding of yourself.

*Samah is currently not accepting new clients.

How I Understand the Work

My approach is psychodynamic and attachment-based, with a strong cultural perspective. I believe our earliest relationships and family experiences can shape how we understand ourselves, respond emotionally, and connect with others.

Together, we may explore early relational wounds and the family or cultural messages that continue to influence your life. I also draw from CBT and DBT to challenge unhelpful beliefs, strengthen emotional regulation, and support a more grounded sense of self. I recognize social justice and advocacy as important parts of helping clients feel empowered to explore themselves and their needs.

What Therapy With Me Feels Like

Therapy with me is warm, supportive, reflective, and collaborative. I take time to thoughtfully build a relationship grounded in trust, where you can feel deeply heard and seen rather than pressured to move before you are ready.

My goal is to create a safe and healing space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace, develop greater emotional awareness, and move toward meaningful change over time.
